    Food Stuffs
  • 1-1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tlbs brown sugar
  • 5 tlbs pumpkin
  • 1 egg
  • 1-1/2 cups milk
  • 3 tlbs butter
    Seasonings
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
    Equipment
  • mixing bowl
  • measuring cup
  • measuring spoon

    Steps for Completion
  1. Melt the butter. Mix the dry ingredients and seasonings in one bowl and the wet in another. Make a well in the center of the dry bowl and pour in the wet. Mix until clumps are mostly gone. Let rest for 30 minutes.
  2. Cook on lower heat than normal. The pumpkin takes longer to cook so you do not want to burn the surfaces. I find it best to cook them covered.
